1. What should I wear to my massage appointment?
a. You should wear what is comfortable for you. You don't need to take off all your clothes to receive massage. However, most massage techniques are best done with as few clothes on as possible to allow access to the areas that require treatment. We provide draping on the treatment tables in the form of sheets and blankets to facilitate the need for privacy and allow your therapist to get to your body. Only the treated area is exposed at any given time, and we never expose genital and female breast regions in the course of treatment no matter what clothes you leave on or off. The treatment rooms are totally private to allow you to transition from your street clothes to the table and back again.
2. How often should I get massage?
a. You can receive massage as frequently as you like (Some is better than none and more is better than some). Athletes often receive massage daily and some people come in as needed. It all depends on individual goals and schedules.
3. Can I tip my therapist?
a. Tips are always appreciated but never required. There is a tip option when paying by credit card. If you would prefer to not tip but it feels awkward to choose that option while face to face, consider prepaying before arriving to your session.
4. Can I work out after my massage?
a. It’s recommended to allow time to remain relaxed after your massage session to receive maximum effectiveness. One of the benefits of massage is to counter effect the habitual tensions caused by how you use your body. If you work out immediately after a massage, the tendency is to tighten back up into your typical patterns, lessening the positive results of the massage.

a. I believe the therapist is most effective when able to use a blend of techniques to address individual goals and needs as they go along. I charge by the time rather than type of massage to allow you to get the most out of your session
6. Why do I have to pay for a session if I can’t keep my appointment?
a. The 24 hour cancellation policy has no exceptions and goes both ways. I require each individual, client or therapist, to be responsible for their time commitments. If you cancel (or reschedule) with less than 24 hours notice, leaving little to no chance of re-booking the appointment time, you have to pay for the session so that the therapist does not lose income. If the therapist cancels with less than 24 hours notice, your next session is complementary. The reason for the cancellation does not need to be explained or discussed. Whether the situation is something under your control or not, the result is the same. The therapist only gets paid when clients come in, empty time slots are lost income.
7. Why can I not use the Re-book Deal with my sessions if I have an automatically repeating, regular appointment time?
a. The Re-Book special offer is meant to incentivize you to book your next appointment in a timely and regular manner and I am very happy it makes my sessions more financially accessible and easier to stay on top of. When you have a "regular time", example: every Friday at 3pm, those sessions are set aside for you perpetually which means they are never available on the online booking system. Even if you give a week's notice of needing to skip or change one, there may have been countless times that time slot may have been one a person online was looking to book in the months leading up to it therefore more potential times prospective clients may have gone elsewhere. An alternative way to bring the price down on your regularly schedules sessions is Membership. Signing up for membership does give you a discount and you can go into the scheduler and book all your sessions as far out as 6 months or as many sessions are remaining on your membership program.
