Rain Weingarten cmt
Hi, I’m Rain, a massage therapist practicing professionally in Lake Ridge since 2001.
Massage has proven to be a skill I come by somewhat innately. Not only with hands-on skill but in ability to understand the mechanics of the body and how to interact with habitual tensions and start to break down those patterns. This allows me to work effectively with people in all walks of life who have a variety of needs.
I offer a unique blend of massage modalities individually catering to each client’s specific needs. While my focus is on chronic pain relief and something I like to refer to as postural reeducation, I’m well versed in relaxation techniques as well as sports massage and prenatal massage.
I have enjoyed teaching massage off and on over the years in a few different capacities and find teaching is a wonderful way to expand your own knowledge and deepen in appreciation and understanding of massage. I continue to offer mentoring to both students and professionals in a more private setting because one on one instruction can be very rewarding.
I spent the bulk of my career practicing in a local health club working with athletes, weekend warriors, referrals from the connected physical therapist, personal trainers, commuters, military, long term loyal clients who have been with me across multiple locations over the years, and every other person who has come my way.
Most recently I have opened an independent office in a beautiful, historic house overlooking the pond in Tackett’s Mill area of Lake Ridge.
While I believe it is best to talk about what you are trying to achieve rather than the specific techniques I might use to accomplish your goals, it could be comforting to know that my offerings include but are not limited to: deep tissue/chronic pain relief, pre & post event sports massage, sports therapy, relaxation/circulation massage, postural reeducation, prenatal massage, stretching sessions, non-certification massage lessons and infant massage lessons.
I’d be happy to speak with you about booking a session for massage therapy that really makes a difference.
