Micha Cole cmt
Hey there, I’m Micha.
As a medical massage therapist with over 20 years of experience, my work has a strong focus on therapeutic massage, with additional training and experience in aromatherapy and energy work.
My approach has always been very individualized, so no two massages will ever be the same. I use a variety of modalities together or interchangeably depending on what a client needs that day, rather than relying on one specific style or routine.
When you come to me, expect that I will create a session that feels caring and restorative while still being effective and results-driven.
Over the years, clients have often complimented me on my ability to find the areas contributing to their pain or tension, sometimes before they even realize those areas are involved. I have always had a very intuitive feel for massage, and that intuition has only deepened with more than two decades of hands-on experience.
I pay close attention to how the body responds throughout the session and adjust my work accordingly. Sometimes the area that hurts needs direct attention. Other times, the real source of the problem is somewhere else entirely.
That is one of the things I enjoy most about this work: figuring out what the body needs and finding the right combination of techniques to address it.
My experience includes medical and orthopedic massage, pre- and post-surgical massage, therapeutic massage, fascial work, cupping, Trager and trigger-point therapy, Vibracussor therapy, prenatal and postpartum massage, advanced stress-reduction and relaxation massage, Aroma-Massage, medical-grade aromatherapy, and energetic restructuring.
For me, massage has never been about following a set routine. It is about paying attention, listening to what your body is telling me, and using the experience I have built over the years to create a session around you.
Whether you are dealing with chronic tension, recovering from an injury or procedure, managing stress, or simply feeling like your body needs some attention, we will start with what is going on for you that day.
From there, I will take care of the rest.
